There are six letters from residents of Alexandertal written to relatives here in the States. Cousin Connie Armstrong arranged for the translation and graciously agreed to have them posted on this site. Be prepared. These are from the dark days of the World War I era and from the Great Famine in the 1930's. They get increasingly tough to take -- but not nearly as hard as the life lived by those who wrote them. What strong folk!
